Guess Who's Pregnant...

Nope, not me. :) My sister-in-law, Shanna, is 5-1/2 weeks pregnant and she just called to tell me that she had an ultrasound today and it's TWINS!! Can you believe it? Crazy insane. She's going to have 4 kids and need a minivan soon!! It took me a couple seconds for it to sink in. So I can't wait to see what their genders are to see if we can buy them matching outfits.

In other news, um... well nothing exciting. Lara is learning all kinds of nursery rhymes lately. She just picks up stuff like that. And Julian can say "ba-ba" and wave his hand bye-bye. And I SWEAR he said bath yesterday when I was stripping him for one, but I can't get him to do it again. He's not into impressing Mommy.

Cheers:)

Who cares about gender? Get them matching outfits anyway! They can be like Phil and Lil from the Rugrats (was I the only one that watched that show? I'm a little younger that you guys.).

rub it in, Anna. Because nobody else is aware that you're not even in your 20s yet and I'm fixin' to exit mine...

But seriously, I guess I could look for something really loud and colorful for both of them for summer. Rainbow something. Maybe ethnic. Awesome.

I thought she was done having kids. I'm guessing that the twins gene runs in the father's side, right? If not, you could potentially do the same...if you got pregnant again. And since she's only 5-1/2 weeks pregnant, you have plenty of time to decide on what gender clothes to buy.

As for babies talking, it's funny how we can't wait for them to say their first words, and then when they do, we can't get them to shut up so we can have some peace and quiet. Life is fun like that...

Shanna's boyfriend has identical twin sisters. However, medical literature states that identical twins are a fluke that can't run in families, and that only fraternal twins run in families because it's the tendency for the woman to produce 2 eggs at once that is genetic, so who knows?
